You have a valid recovery certificate for each positive PCR or antigen test in the past 180 days.
- Unless two tests have been done within 60 days, in which case you will only get one certificate, for the first test. That is because if there are less than 60 days between two positive tests, these tests are probably showing the same variant of the virus.
- More than 60 days between two positive tests but within 180 days? Then you were probably quickly infected with a new variant. In this case, you may have two valid recovery certificates in your CovidSafeBE app.
A recovery certificate expires 180 days after a positive test. So, if you have more than one recovery certificate, it is best to use your most recent one, as that is valid for the longest.
